Money Deposits

All money orders are to be made payable to Calvert County Detention Center (CCDC) with the inmate’s name placed on the money order. Please place your name, address, and telephone number on the money order. This will allow us to contact you in the event of a problem. Money Orders will be placed on hold until cleared from the bank.  The inmate will be notified of the hold and release of funds.  Money Orders older than one year will be returned to sender.  Fraudulent Money Orders will result in no further Money Orders being accepted for that inmate.  Money orders will only be accepted through the mail.

Kiosk

Cash or credit cards can be used to deposit money into an inmate’s account by using the kiosk located in the lobby. This kiosk is open for use, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Depending on the amount, a transaction fee will be deducted from the total amount of money deposited, and a receipt is printed from the kiosk. The money is immediately added to the inmate’s account. The Detention Center is not liable for the kiosk machine. If you have a question concerning your deposit, you will need to contact the number at the bottom of your receipt.
