Picnic Reservations

Planning a birthday party, family reunion or other special event? Picnic shelters at Dunkirk District Park and pavilions at Hallowing Point Park and Cove Point Park are able to be reserved for your use.

 Shelters have capacities from 15-150+ depending on the park requested. There is a limit of two reservations per household per calendar year. No alcohol or smoking is permitted in picnic areas or the parks. The fees for use are detailed below:

You can make a request by sending an email with your name, park requested, date requested and estimated size of your event.  Additionally, please include your mailing address and contact phone number in your email request.  You may also  leave a voicemail at 410-535-1600, extensions 2227 or 2229 with the same information and your request will be handled in the order it was received.

For 2023, in-season park hours resume on Sat 3/13. We will accept reservations for 2023 starting on Tuesday, January 17 at 8:30 a.m.  Picnic Shelters at Dunkirk District Park, Hallowing Point Park and Cove Point Park will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
